Paint Day

We started by painting the kids faces!!

Maddie did an awesome Tiger!!

My plane was just OK, but in my defense my canvas was very squirmy!!

Next we painted with the paint brushes in our mouths!!

Then we painted with straws.  The kids added the paint and a little water mixture with droppers then blew it with their straws.

When they dried we added googly eyes and mouths!

Next we played musical paintings.  When the music stopped you had to stop at the picture you were at and paint!!

Next we painted some marsh mellows with edible paint, a milk and food coloring mixture!!

We had a paint themed lunch!!

and I read them a cute little story called "Wait no Paint!"

Next we painted shiny rainbows with a paint made of condensed milk and food coloring!

Next up was puff paint!  A mixture of 1c flour, 2tsp baking soda, 1tsp, salt and enough water to get a pancake batter consistency.  Then I put them in sandwich bags and added food coloring.  The pretended they were decorating a cake.  When they were done I popped their creations in the microwave for 30 seconds!

Next we used the end of pencils to make fun dotted paintings!

Our paint slip n slide had to be put off due to rain, but we got to do it Saturday!!  What a messy blast!!

They ended up sliding down the slide onto the slip n slide!!
